TypeShelf

Privacy policy

The Windows app

WD DIGI provides TypeShelf as a free Windows font manager. TypeShelf stores font metadata, collections, tags, application rules, settings and import reports locally on your computer. Imported fonts are copied into its managed local library. Installed Windows fonts are read in place.

The app does not upload font files, collect usage analytics, use an account, validate a license online or include advertising trackers. It reads the foreground process name locally to match rules you created. It does not read the contents of your design documents.

Local diagnostics

A local startup log may record technical exception information when startup fails. Import reports include source file paths. These files remain on your PC unless you choose to share them. The cleanup companion maintains a local list of temporary registrations while TypeShelf is running.

Links and Microsoft Store

WD DIGI, product and support links open in your browser or email app. Microsoft handles Store delivery and any information it processes under Microsoft's privacy policy. External sites and your email provider have their own privacy practices.

This website

This website uses Cloudflare for hosting, HTTPS and delivery. Cloudflare may process IP addresses, browser details, request times and security events to deliver and protect the site. WD DIGI does not add marketing cookies or an analytics script to this website. Infrastructure security features may use essential technical storage.

When you contact support

If you email support@wddigi.com, WD DIGI receives the email address, message and attachments you send. We use them to answer the request and investigate the issue. Do not send font files or private project information unless needed and permitted by the font license.

Your choices

You can remove imported fonts, tags, collections and rules in TypeShelf. To remove all local records, close TypeShelf, locate its application data in Settings and delete that TypeShelf data folder or reset the Microsoft Store app. Your original font files and installed Windows fonts are separate. Contact support@wddigi.com about support correspondence or this policy.

Manage installed fonts

Open Manage fonts or choose Manage this font in the specimen pane. An imported desktop font can be installed permanently for your Windows user. TypeShelf can uninstall a per-user copy after confirmation and keeps a copy in its library. Windows system fonts open in Windows Fonts settings. A TTC operation affects every face in that file.
